David Gerrold, science fiction writer, was born in Chicago, Ill. and earned a B.A. from California State U. (Northridge). Gerrold began writing in 1967 and has written more than ten novels - some in collaboration with other writers. He has also edited several anthologies including, Ascents of wonder (1977).
